SummaryThere hasn't been a daddy in Hallie's house for a while now.
Her parents, Logan Wakefield and Dana Marlowe, are
divorced. Hallie lives with her mommy in Chicago, and her
daddy is an investigator who travels all over the world.
Then Hallie has an accident. Logan rushes to the hospital
where his daughter is still unconscious. Dana's not sure
how to react when Logan announces that he'll be moving back
into the house. She has no choice but to agree, at least
while Hallie's still recovering, and while Dana herself,
who works for the State Attorney's office is involved with
a potentially dangerous case. So, Daddy comes home. And that's good for Hallie, even if
she's puzzled by the way mommy and daddy are acting-they're
mad at each other one minute...and kissing the next.
