SummaryDr. Matthew Winter has it all: a brilliant career, an
adoring wife, and the enviable power of his vampiric

Since helping his twin brother destroy the most vicious of
blood drinkers eight years ago, his life has been content.
When he's accused of compromising his professional ethics
for financial gain, he leaves his hospital to work in a
research center specializing in vampiric medicine. There,
he rescues a child--a descendant of the Original vampires--
and is manipulated into a world of violence and lies, a

Vampires are actually aliens who chose to make Earth their
home. The first settlers are called Originals. Hybrids
were humans who were turned after being bitten by a vampire
and Immaculates are the result of a mating between two
