Summary

Halo is the owner of Black Box Bistro, a club that serves up virtual reality fare to the troops stumbling in from the moon colony wars. A former stripper at the Cat’s Meow and she’s ready for a new, happy life that she controls. Except, she can’t control the hot flame she secretly harbors for her flirtatious tech helper Kai. He’s always there and she can’t deny her vivid lust or her hunger for his love and affection, except he seems to be carrying torch for a stripper at the Cat’s Meow.

Kai isn’t carrying a torch. He’s packing a stone hard tool that could work out the kinks in Halo’s life. She drew him to the Cat’s Meow every night she worked there and he couldn’t help but volunteer his services when she got out from under and started her own business. He wants to be so much more for her but Halo’s heart is locked and sealed after being battered by stripping and hardened by failed love attempts. He has to find a way to banish her pain and unlock her heart, because his love for her is very real. If only he can prove it to her.
