Seducing Mr. Darcy tells the story of Flip Allison, an ornithologist at the Pittsburgh Aviary and reader of racy romance novels. A shoulder spasm drives Flip to a massage therapist where the advertised special is imagining yourself in your favorite book. She finds herself mistakenly thrown into the pages of Pride and Prejudice, straight, in fact, into the accommodating arms of Mr. Darcy. It is no surprise, therefore, that she wakes from the massage totally relaxed and revived. However, Flip is quickly horrified to discover her romp with Darcy has changed everything about Pride and Prejudice. His happily-ever-after ending with Lizzy Bennet has been ruined. Flip must enlist the help of the distinctly-Darcy-like Magnus Knightley, a sexy but imperious Austen scholar, to undo the damage before legions of Pride and Prejudice fans find out. But first she has to convince him that there can be more to a massage than meets the eye. Readers will be turning pages in this funny and romantic read to find out if Flip saves the book and which pair of lovers succumbs to Austen-induced love first.
