There's an old curse which goes something like this: "may you live in interesting times". Most days, Georgina (call her Gina, or else) thinks life to get her. Other times, she knows as much for sure.

Thing is: superheroes are real. Gina? She happens to be one of them -- damn it! All she thinks she wants is to settle down in a normal life with nothing that goes bump in the night disturbing her. Anything but the ever-present fear of waking up with the urge to wear spandex and start going by a comic book alias, you know?

Too bad for her. Karma's got other plans in store for Gina.

Forced to act when a dragon unleashes an attack on her city, Gina's no damsel in distress -- but she's not stupid, either.. She knows enough to know she needs help -- and luckily, she finds it in the sorcerer Dakarai and a zoologist named Randall, both hunka-hunka-hunks, not to mention brilliant and highly skilled.

Of course, bringing these guys on board ends up making life more complicated for Gina, not less. While she's falling for Dakarai -- and Randall -- during her attempt to save the city, she discovers they're both falling for her too… and, incidentally, each other.
