I live in Northern Wisconsin on a beautiful spring-fed lake in the northwoods. However, I'm a normal American.

I was born in El Paso, Texas, raised in Waukegan, Illinois, raised our two children in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. And now with my nest empty, my husband and I live where we always wished to live.

I have written inspirational contemporary romance and romantic suspense, but my first love is inspirational historical sagas.

I began writing the year our daughter was thirteen months old. And my first book was acquired by Love Inspired in 1997, the year our daughter began high school. This thought keeps me humble.
