Barbara Samuel/Ruth Wind had two goals as a girl-to publish books and travel the world. She sold her first romance novel, STRANGERS ON A TRAIN, with Silhouette in 1989. Since then she has published nearly two dozen books, both historical and contemporary, under her own name and under Ruth Wind, and has managed to check off quite a few states on the world list and a good many major cities. She lives in the southwest with her husband and sons.
