Kimberly Ivey is an award-winning author, writing workshop presenter, and creative writing instructor with more than 25 years experience in the publishing business. Hundreds of her published poems, nonfiction magazine articles and short stories have appeared in magazines, print anthologies and electronic publications throughout the U.S. and Canada. At present, she writes contemporary, historical, paranormal, and fantasy novels and novellas in the romance and young adult genres.

Although formally educated in business law, Kimberly's true calling was communication and artistic expression. She once worked as a newspaper photojournalist as well as an archival photo restoration specialist. In 1992 she appeared in the film, This Is The Night, from Liturgical Training Publications. The film was later nominated for a CINDY Award (Cinema in Industry) and distributed world wide in seven languages.

A fifth generation Texan of Tsalagi heritage, she resides in Texas with her husband of 32 years. When she isn't writing, she enjoys beading, crocheting, and spending time with friends. She is a 3rd Degree Reiki Master and Teacher of traditional Japanese Usui Reiki, an energy healing modality.
