Alicia Maddox

I was born in the United States and raised all over kingdom come - instilling me early on with a love for my favorite thing - people watching! No matter where you are, there's something interesting to see if you only look hard enough.

I used to make up stories in my head about the people I saw - what they did for a living, what they thought about, who was married to who. It was a handy knack for passing the time and now that I'm "grown up" (ha), I've moved on to writing as a way to channel my imagination.

My favorite thing in the world is to make up stories about two people, in difficult circumstances, who find a way to overcome and live happily ever after in love. Of course my friends give me crap about that but seriously, there's enough bad stuff in the world as it is. Why not write about some of what makes it so good?

So yes, I admit it freely, I'm a sucker for a great romance. Throw in a little fantasy and sci fi and I'm all OVER it.
