From childhood, Karin Shah wrote herself into her favorite TV shows before falling asleep every night.

She adores paranormal romance, romantic fantasy, and futuristics, but will read anything with great characters and a satisfying, happy ending. She is an animal lover and likes to boast about the animals she’s been bitten by, including, but not limited to, cockatiels (which really hurts), prairie dogs, finches (can barely feel it), ferrets and many, many hamsters (if you want a rodent for a pet, get a mouse. They’re sweet.)

Karin lives with her amazing husband, Nikhil, brilliant children, Natalie and Roman, and two mischievous basenjis in Columbus, Ohio.
