From the hardback edition of Vampire High: “Douglas Rees once spent a year in Massachusetts near a town much like New Sodom. He now lives in San Francisco Bay area of California with his wife and three cats. He has been a dishwasher, a college history teacher, and a professional storyteller, among other things. Today, when he isn’t writing, he works for a public library as a young adult librarian.”
