Stacey Jay

Stacey Jay is a psychotic workaholic with three pen names, nearly four kids (one is still cooking, due to bust out of the oven in November 08), and a decidedly sick sense of humor. She loves creepies, crawlies, blood, guts, and gore, and of course, romance. What would a zombie novel be without kisses that make your toes tingle?

In her spare time, she loves lying in the sun reading a good book and drinking a cold beer (which she can do because she's over twenty-one. She's not advocating underage drinking, though if you are underage and drink you shouldn't drive. Someone could die and then the guilt would ruin your life. Don't ruin your life with guilt. That's all I'm saying.)

Stacey has been a full time writer since 2005 and can't think of anything she'd rather be doing. Her former careers include theatre performer, professional dancer, poorly paid C-movie actress, bartender, and waiter. She also spent some time selling time shares in Times Square and teaching Yoga in Los Angeles. She's lived on a commune, hitch-hiked across Ireland, and lived to tell the tale of traveling alone to France and Italy when all her college pals decided to head back to the State's after a semester of study abroad. (Learn how to say, "I'm planning to be a nun" in Italian if you go that route. The Italian men are quite aggressive when pursuing the fairer sex.)
