I have always loved reading and writing romances. My favorite heroes are, of course, the extremely delightful alpha males. Especially, Indians, which is why The Half Breed was such a treat to write.

As a teenager, I entered a contest in the Sweet Sixteen magazine. The guidelines were to write a story about a dream (real or imagined) about meeting Michael Landon. I quickly penned a humorous tale about an accident waiting to happen when I met the famous actor. My story included many follies. One of which involved pushing him in the swimming pool ( accidentally, of course). Several months later, I was surprised to learn that my story placed first in the contest. My mother was thrilled with the $100 check I recieved as first prize. Keep in mind that this was many, many years ago and $100 went a long way. Thus was the beginning of my writing career.

Several years and one marriage and child later, I attempted writing again. I wrote several books, but did not have the time to really dive into writing as I would have liked. Now, I am very happy to be working in the career that I love.

I live in my hometown with my husband. We have one grown daughter and one very precocious grandson. He keeps us all quite busy.
