M. L. Cordle
Successful artist turned novelist M.L. Cordle fell in love with books as a child because of the magical sketches they inspired in her mind. She began her love affair with writing at age fifteen, was working for a local newspaper after school by seventeen, and then for a printing company by nineteen. She began selling her erotic artwork a few years ago to supplement her income so that she could broaden her travels and experience different cultures. A huge fan of anything paranormal, and of who-done-it mysteries, she tries to incorporate a little from both genres into her work. She is a fan of the evocative. She considers her mentors, in no particular order, to be Sandra Brown, Stephen King, M. Night Shyamalan, Ron Howard, Dean Koontz, Joe Hill (chip off the King block), Karen Slaughter, Elizabeth Flock, Holly Kennedy, Elizabeth Brundage, David Lindsey, and Wes Craven. In her free time she researches her ideas, and excavates the sites of early American homesteads. Mostly, though, her free time is allotted to – what else? – reading and writing. Her books are sexy and original. M.L. Cordle is a native of the beautiful mountains of Southwest Virginia where she continues to live with her husband and daughter. She knows the names of all her forebears – spanning back to her sixth great grandparents - and can tell you their stories. |
