Thomas Pendelton has a BA in Communications from the University of Colorado at Denver, has worked in Corporate Communications, and is member of Horror Writers Association. He lists his interests and influences as follows: Classic Literature - Shakespeare (the tragedies more than the comedies, of course), Donne, Blake, Hemingway, Capote, McCullers, James Baldwin Horror Literature - Peter Straub, Ghost Story,The Throat/Stephen King, The Dead Zone, Salem’s Lot, It/ Clive Barker, The Books of Blood, Damnation Game Horror Films - From Universal classics to The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Dawn of the Dead, The Hills Have Eyes, Saw, and The Ring. Also Shaun of the Dead is the most brilliant film EVER! Ha. Thomas Pendleton co-writes, with Stefan Petruch Harper’s teen horror series Wicked Dead, which debuts with LURKER and includes TORN, SNARED, CRUSH, PREY, and SKIN. He lives in Austin, Texas.
