Chris Power

I live in the southwest of England, in the heart of what once was the ancient kingdom of Wessex, and close to Stonehenge. My home is cheerfully chaotic, since I share it with my son, daughter-in-law, two grandsons and three large dogs.

I've been writing stories for as long as I can remember, so much that my parents gave me my first typewriter when I was 9 years old. In the 70's I started writing with Terri Beckett, sharing plots and characters with happy abandon. At first we wrote 'fanfiction', but our mutual love of history and fantasy inspired us to spread out to wider fields.

I have been published in other genres and co-writer with Terri, and have several solo writing projects on the go as well as some tandem ones. Writing is something I have to do. It's a necessity, it's fulfilling and just plain fun. Sharing it is an incredible bonus.
