Back living in North Wales after four years on Grand Cayman (proof positive that no good deed goes unpunished), I am married to the love of my life, with one son, two cats who deign to live with me, and one very new grandson. I've been working in libraries for much of my life, just to be near books.

I have been writing as long as I could hold a pen, but first teamed up with my writing partner Chris Power in the mid-70's, writing fan-fiction. After some time and several awards, we branched out into writing fantasy and historical fiction.

I am published in these and other genres, separately and together with Chris. Writing is a passion - even an addiction. I fall in love frequently with the characters who live in my head, and sharing them with other people is the most fun I've had with my clothes on...
