M. A. Ellis

M.A. Ellis currently resides in northwestern Pennsylvania. Over the past twenty-six years she has lived throughout the United States thanks to the whims of corporate America. While the nomadic lifestyle is not for the faint of heart, she embraced the opportunity to visit new locales, meet a wide variety of people and kindle more than a few lasting friendships. There is no doubt that at some point those local beliefs and attitudes and ways of life will weave their uniqueness into her work.

She is a firm believer that everyone should pursue their dreams…no matter how long it takes to achieve them. While devoted to crafting tales of hot encounters and steamy romance that always have a happy ending, she recognizes her jump into the realm of publication would not have been possible without the love and support of her husband, son and daughter.

At various points in her life M.A. has been a waitress (on more than one occasion and most memorably at a truck stop—never work the night shift, if possible), a short-lived college business major, a secretarial school diva, a wife, a microfilm cleaner in an underground mine, an assistant trap line checker, a data entry operator, a mother of unexpected boy/girl twins (this was before the days of routine ultrasounds—around the same time women simply squatted in the cornfield and gave birth), a great cook and masterbaker, a very non-traditional college journalism major (with minors in English and writing), a literary magazine editor, a forty-year-old Northern Kentucky University graduate, a freelance journalist, and a mediator of high school drama (and I’m not talking about the actual plays, folks). After that whirlwind of excitement and life lessons, losing herself in the world of erotic romance was the obvious choice!
