Tiffany Trent

Tiffany Trent grew up in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of southwestern Virginia. She won her first major writing award in high school for a fantasy story. She continued in her resolve to be a writer throughout school, while receiving three master's degrees in English, Creative Writing, and Environmental Studies. She also writes nonfiction and has published essays and articles about environmental issues in China and Appalachia. To feed the muse, she has lived and worked in Hong Kong, mainland China, Oregon, Montana, and North Carolina variously as a technical editor and environmental educator. She is at work on Hallowmere, a ten-book young adult dark fantasy series forthcoming from Mirrorstone/Wizards of the Coast in 2007. She currently lives in Virginia with her wildlife biologist husband, four felines, and dog. She is represented by Robert Gottlieb and Kimberly Whalen of Trident Media Group.
