Alecia Monaco

Alecia Monaco wrote her first story when she was three years old. Encouraged by her aunt, an English teacher, she dictated a short story about a doll, which her aunt wrote down and bound into a small book. Alecia was hooked.

She continued to write short stories, plays, and poems throughout elementary school. When she was twelve, she discovered the romance genre through the pages of Silhouette First Love and the Sweet Valley High series. While her association with the Wakefield twins was brief and regrettable, it had one interesting result: Alecia wrote her first romance novel while in the sixth grade. A truly dreadful attempt, it has thankfully been stashed in her mother's garage, never to be seen by human eyes again.

But her love of romance continues to this day, and she hopes her efforts have improved since then. She enjoys the endless possibilities of combining romance with her interest in the paranormal, and is thrilled that she can share her inner worlds with readers everywhere. She is especially thankful to her parents, who bought books for her as a child at great personal sacrifice, fostering her love of reading and writing.

Today, Alecia lives in Houston with her family, and looks forward to writing paranormal and erotic romance for many years to come.
