Mark Del Franco

Mark Del Franco graduated from Boston University in 1985, with a degree in English by way of engineering, computer science, math, religion and a leave of absence in the middle when he couldn’t take physics anymore. He began a professional career in medical publishing that careened into contracts administration and eventually earned a really cool severance package. With his keen business acumen, he immediately went on several vacations and enrolled in art classes which naturally led him to the glamorous world of financial investment proposal writing, where he now enthralls pension board advisors with his prose.

Del Franco lives with his partner, Jack, in Boston, Massachusetts. His first novel, Unshapely Things, is an original mystery set in an alternate Boston in which the contemporary universe has merged with a fantasy realm peopled by beings from Celtic and Teutonic mythology. He is currently developing a sequel to unshapely things as well as other fiction projects.
