Iíve had a variety of careers, including perennial student, grad school dropout (twice), project manager, computer consultant, and legal editor. Iíve studied psychology, sociology, anthropology, counseling and law. Get the impression it took a while for me to figure out what I wanted to do with my life?
Yup, true enough.
But I did find my bliss (writing, in case youíre wondering) and that makes me feel very lucky.
Iíve been writing fiction for about ten years now, and have had stories published in Canadian literary journals, the American Womanís World, Englandís Womanís Weekly, Scotlandís The Peopleís Friend and Australiaís Womanís Day. My novel Finding Isadora, was a finalist in the Romance Writers of Americaģ Golden Heart contest.
Champagne Rules was my first published novel, and Iím thrilled that characters I bring to life are sharing their stories with the world. Iím equally thrilled to hear from readers who have taken the Awesome Foursome to their hearts.
Be warned, my books are sexy! More than one woman has told me sheís had to put down my book and grab her sweetie Ė and that heís grateful for it. But thereís a lot more to my stories. Theyíre about dealing with tough issues, re-examining values, the joy of supportive friendship and, most of all, the power of love.
Okay, so what else do I do when I'm not writing?
