I grew up all over northern California and finally finished high school in the Bay Area. I attended college at California State University, Sacramento, where I graduated summa cum laude with a degree in History. I somehow ended up in Bloomington, Indiana for graduate school and got my Master's degree in Library Science. Now, I'm one of those alphabet people with letters after my name. Crazy, huh? Most of my close family members reside in California, with a smattering throughout Arizona, Washington, Texas, and Illinois. I have one older brother and two younger brothers. Yes, that makes me the only girl. Life is cruel that way. I also have two beautiful nieces that I encourage to read constantly. Hey, I'm a nerdy librarian. We do that. Deal with it. I simply cannot wait until my nieces are old enough to start dating and thus torture their fathers. Life is fabulous that way. |
