Sharon Pisacreta

Sharon Pisacreta began submitting stories to magazines when she was 14 years old. Upon reaching adulthood, she was mysteriously overcome by a rare rational mood and decided to become an archaeologist. But shortly after earning her master's degree from New York University, Sharon's love of writing returned stronger than ever and she traded in her trowel for a Macintosh.

Being a Halloween baby, it's not surprising that her precious publishing credits were in mystery and fantasy. It was a chance registration for a Romance Writers of America conference that introduced her to the world of romance.

A member of Greater Detroit RWA, Sharon is a two-time Golden Heart finalist. In April 1997, Leisure Books bought Stolen Hearts, her 1996 Golden Heart finalist. Sharon lives in metropolitan Detroit with her two sweethearts, husband Barry and daughter Emma, and spends most of her time trying to write more -- and vacuum less.
