Barbara Samuel

Barbara Samuel, who has also written as Ruth Wind, had two goals as a girl--to publish books and travel the world. She sold her first romance novel, STRANGERS ON A TRAIN, with Silhouette in 1989. Since then she has published nearly two dozen books, both historical and contemporary, and has managed to visit most of the United States and three foreign countries. Now writing women's fiction in hardcover for Ballantine, she lives in the southwest with her son and a modest menagerie of animals.
