Stephanie Forman Morimura

co-author of Tokyo city on the edge with Todd Crowell, moved to Tokyo in 1980 from her home in Philadelphia. Originally intending to fulfil a two-year contract with the International Education Center, she met and married Kenji and made Tokyo her home. She served as Director of the Center for Japanese Studies and wrote a weekly column on cross-cultural communication for the mass circulation daily Mainichi Shimbun and a monthly column for the weekly Business Computer News. She currently divides her time between New York and Tokyo.
