I've been writing since I was a kid. My first attempt at writing was when I tried to write a sequel to The Three Musketeers by Alexander Dumas. I read his book at the age of twelve and even then I knew I wanted more. So I love sequels and I love the classics. I've always loved dark and gothic tales. Dracula being my favorite story, bar none! But don't you just hate it when you think someone is just too darn sexy to always die at the end of every story and movie attributed to him? I do. So, now you know I love dark tales and I hate the idea of "The End". PFFT! Since when does a story have to end? I love music and dancing, I even love to sing, but I sing privately. I'm much more comfortable writing stories and not sitting in the spot light. Let's leave that honor to the actors of the world. When I dance I prefer to be in the middle of the dance floor, not on the edge where all the spectators can see me. As for music, it all depends on my mood. Now let's get to the nitty gritty. Why do I write? I can't stop. It's that simple really. I see a movie, or read a book and think of how I would make it better. I sleep at night and dream of plots. I have a conversation with someone and wonder, "How would that unfurl in a story?" Hell, I can be riding down the road and see a house and wonder what's going on inside it, or see a forest and wonder what type of fantastic creatures could hunt, live and die in its shadows.
