Mary Balogh

Mary Balogh grew up in Wales and moved to Saskatchewan, Canada, in 1967 to teach. She continues to live in the same small prairie town with her husband, though now she writes full time. She has three adult children and three grandchildren. Mary has written thirty-six Regencies, twenty historicals, and more than twenty novellas.

Her books regularly appear on bestseller lists. She has won numerous writing awards, including eight Waldenbooks Best-Selling Awards and a Romantic Times Lifetime Achievement Award.
