Paula Blais Gorgas

I am a native Rhode Islander, now living in the Green Country of eastern Oklahoma. With my husband, a retired Navy commander turned pro golfer, I have traveled all over the U.S. while raising our four sons. I have a B.A. degree in Spanish from Salve Regina University in Newport, RI., and have worked as an NSA intelligence analyst, a children's librarian, and now a fiction writer. My first novel, COURT OF HONOR, won the Golden Heart Award, but it took ten years before seeing publication. During those years, I continued to write, and published many short stories, mostly romance and fantasy. As always, I read voraciously, and I branched out from fiction to indulge a long-time interest in science, metaphysics and the paranormal. These influences are reflected in Dreamtime, my romance novel that describes one family's multi-generational alien encounters, and Earth Magic, the first book in a YA trilogy.
