Jana G. Oliver

An Iowa native, Jana Oliver has led an eclectic life. After nearly a decade as a registered nurse, she moved ‘back to the land’ and farmed with a team of draft horses, worked in radio, as a travel agent and an advertising copywriter. The last gig required a lengthy stint in Hong Kong.

When the ‘voices in her head’ refused to settle down unless she told their stories, Jana began writing in earnest. Her first three books were self-published and two finaled for the Daphne du Maurier Award for Excellence in Mystery/Suspense (Kiss of Death Chapter – RWA).

Her first traditionally-published novel SOJOURN (Time Rovers – Book 1) found a home at Dragon Moon Press. SOJOURN’s unique combination of time travel, shape-shifters and historical mystery readily appealed to readers across the genres and has received warm praise from reviewers.

When not attending conventions or rummaging through old books, Jana lives in Atlanta with one husband and two cats (Midnight and OddsBobkin). She will admit to being frequently tempted by chocolate and fine single malt scotch.
